Kathy offers flexible scheduling for students of all ages and abilities. She teaches in her home studio in Columbus/Clintonville, OH, as well as online lessons via Zoom.
Students experience a comprehensive curriculum of keyboard skills, sight reading, and repertoire, tailored to fit their musical interests and goals. Kathy works to discover students' innate feeling for music, fostering and refining what they intuitively know. Her students learn the fundamentals and develop a healthy piano technique, while retaining their love of playing the piano. Improvisation is encouraged, in addition to the study and performance of high quality music composed by a wide variety of composers.
